Continuing Education Seminars
WFU Department of Counseling sponsors six hours of continuing education each semester. The seminars feature experts in various areas of counseling to contribute to the professional and career development of area professional counselors and the students, faculty, alumni and clinical supervisors of the Wake Forest University Masters in Counseling Program. CEU’s for LPC and NCC are awarded to attendees.
The Spring 2011 seminar was held on April 29, 2011. The morning seminar was “Legal and Ethical responsibilities” and the afternoon seminar was “Challenging Legal and Ethical Issues.” 90 persons attended each session. The speaker was Mary A. Hermann, J.D., Ph.D, Chair of the Counselor Education Program at Virginia Commonwealth University.
