Dr. Gladding was interviewed for a television news segment on the relationship between politics and friendship.  He says there is a way to preserve your personal relationships, whether your favorite candidate recently won or lost an election. If the other person really is your friend, put your friendship first, your politics a distant second.

Dr. Gladding says  “….being a good sport, being a good loser, being a gracious winner is very important for people if they want to continue their relationships with others.”

Good advice for us all, in any situation—thanks, Dr. Gladding!
