Guest Speaker in FYS 100 – The Transition from Incarceration to Community Reintegration: Understanding the Ex-Offender Reentry Process

Reggie Torrence and Exodus Moon, case managers for Project Reentry, recently spoke in Dr. Mark Scholl’s First Year Seminar Course. They both shared their knowledge and experience helping returning citizens with their transition back into the local community following incarceration. They help their clients with tasks such as finding housing, gaining employment, and meeting their healthcare needs.  Reggie’s father, Carl Simmons, also joined the class to hear his son speak.
