Their webinar will be offered at NO COST to all students and faculty in the Fall 2026 semester, from Wednesday, August 26th to Wednesday, December 16th, at various dates and times!

The Essentials of APA Style (7th Edition)

In this 2-hour web-based training, Heartful Editor will overview the essential guidelines in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA, 7th Edition), including paper elements and format, writing style and grammar, bias-free language guidelines, the mechanics of style, tables and figures, works credited in the text, and formatting the reference list. We also highlight tips and strategies for self-editing theses, dissertations, manuscripts for publication, and more. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions as we discuss the many nuances of APA and academic writing!

The Essentials of APA Style will be offered from Wednesday, August 26th to Wednesday, December 16th at various dates and times. The same webinar is offered every week, so please register for only one date. Webinars are limited to 500 participants per session and fill up quickly. Advanced registration is required. All participants will receive a certificate of completion for those who may be required to submit proof of attendance to their department or campus.
