During the Department of Counseling’s 2013 Induction Ceremony for the Pi Alpha chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, students, faculty, and staff honored John P. Anderson, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Counseling who retired in Spring 2011, and his wife, Mary “Cissy” Anderson, through the dedication of the John & Mary Anderson Fellowship. Each year the John and Mary Anderson Fellowship will be awarded to a graduate student in the Department of Counseling who hopes to advance the care to persons or groups affected by mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer’s disease. Daniel, a student in the class of 2013 and the 2012-2013 recipient of the fellowship, participated in the dedication.

Thank you, John and Mary Anderson!
